FAINA Collection brings to London its best-sellers, as well as novelties, in the reinterpreted concept of "cave" minimalism.

The London Design Fair is an international trade show that occurs during the London Design Festival. It takes place in the Old Truman Brewery, on Brick Lane in East London over four days every September.

Founded by Jimmy MacDonald in 2007, originally under the name Tent London until 2016, the trade show is an annual event to celebrate and promote design to a trade and public audience. The London Design Fair hosts over 400 designers, brands, and features from all over the world. The Fairs visitor numbers have grown over the 10 years to over 28,000 visitors in 2017.

For 2018, the London Design Fair will be exploring this year’s most loathed material – plastic. While FAINA Collection will talk about its prominent material that has its own “collection in a collection” – clay.

Victoria Yakusha, author of the FAINA Collection believes that the appeal to cultural and ethnic roots in design helps to restore harmony between a person and the surrounding world. "It is becoming increasingly difficult for a modern resident of a metropolis to resist daily stress, so sometimes he needs to return into the cave, "to his primitive instincts, in order to be reborn and restore vital energy," – Victoria believes.

Our home is often such a shelter for us. Therefore, it is very important make it filled with eco-friendly "living" items made of natural materials – wood, clay, wool, flax – and with positive energy.

The FAINA Collection items are very tactile, and their encoded forms and silhouettes include genetic memory, awakening the sense of comfort and coziness of the home.

The novelty of the collection is the TREMBITA vases, reminiscent of the oldest Ukrainian musical instrument included in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest instrument in the world. Trembita – the embodiment of the "voice" of our ancestors, who trumpets us about the main thing – the ability to live simply, without excess, enjoying the gifts of nature, without destroying it.

The exhibition will also feature the success of the chair TOPTUN, vases BANDURA, cabinet PECHYVO, and armchair LONO. Each subject of the collection is a separate story, bearing in itself the code of the nation and our history, which we want to tell the whole world!

Visit us at Old Truman Bravery on 20th-23th of September!
